The Casa Normanna association
"Casa Normanna" Association and the group of Sbandieratori are inserted in a social context far broader and more ancient that is the Rione Vecchia Matrice of Motta Santa Anastasia.
The Association, through the groups flag-wavers, majorettes, and pageant history, represents and leads around the world a culture and centuries-old tradition, handed down from memory of the Rione Vecchia Matrice.
The colors that represent the Association is green and yellow.
All members of the Rione are commonly called and known by the nickname "Campagnolo". The Association was founded in 1981, but its origins date back to the seventies when it was formed in fact, always within the District, the first group of flag-wavers and musicians.
It was subsequently established the prestigious group of majorettes.
Casa Normanna association does not have any profit and apolitical.
Fundamental basis of the association is the volunteer work that is done as a social service.
The Association aims to promote, social gathering, solidarity and promotes recreational, cultural, theatrical, sporting and leisure activities in order to raise the quality of life of members.
In particular, the aim of the Association is to promote culture in all its expressions folklore, traditional sports and to help disseminate historical and traditional ideals of local cultural heritage through organizing and participating in demonstrations and shows.
